Boy Scout Troops in Yadkin County in addition to Elkin and Alleghany County shall be accumulating meals donations this weekend to profit space meals banks as half the annual Scouting for Meals venture. Baggage have been dropped at native households on Feb. 6 for residents to fill with non-perishable meals gadgets to be left on porches and stoops for pick-up previous to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13.
For individuals who didn’t obtain a meals bag and want to donate, Scouts shall be available on the following places from 9 a.m. to 12 midday on Feb. 13 to gather non-perishable meals gadgets: Elkin Farmers Market nook of E. Market and N. Bridge Streets in Downtown Elkin, Yadkin Christian Ministries at 117 Woodlyn Drive in Yadkinville and Strong Rock Meals Closet at 71 Womble Road in Sparta.
“There’s a determined want for meals through the present pandemic. Please assist feed the hungry in our space,” occasion organizers mentioned.
